The reflection of Her X-1 X-ray emission from the inner edge of the
accretion disk is discussed. This effect influences the structure of the
light curve in the 'high-on' and 'low-on' states of the 35-day cycle. It
is found that disk precession must occur in the direction of neutron
star rotation and orbital motion.
