Exact solutions to Chandrasekhar's (1960) X- and Y-functions are
obtained under general conditions. A numerical scheme which can be used
in conjunction with these solutions is presented. The linear, singular,
and decoupled integral equations which the X- and Y-functions satisfy
were solved in order to obtain these solutions.
