Proportional Counters: Accuracy

On the basis of the emulative calculation on the pathlengths of
omnidirectional cosmic ray through various gas proportional counters,
one can choose the size and shape of proportional counters and the
suitable gas filled so as to reduce the background counts caused by
cosmic ray in a certain range of observed energy.
