We give a brief description of an efficient algorithm for numerical simulation of the motion of close planetary satellites. We describe the results of applying this algorithm to the problem of simulating five years of the motion of the Martian satellite Phobos. High prediction accuracy is achieved by using a variant, developed by the authors, of Encke's method in regularizing and stabilizing variables and a high-order numerical algorithm.
