Scientific paper

A method is presented for the automatic detection and location of
seismic events recorded on a network. The technique is based on a
progressive study of the interstation correlation functions, which leads
to a consistent set of time-delays when a seismic phase is present.
Three different examples are processed on networks of different sizes.
