For the purpose of routine separation of the paramagnetic and ferromagnetic components of magnetic anisotropy, a torque meter has been developed using a special jewel bearing instead of fibre suspension. This solution gives rise to high rapidity and a high degree of automation of measurement. The sensitivity is retained at a reasonable level; the minimum measurable torque is 5 × 10-8N m. The measurement about one axis is fully automated.
