The directions of arrival of over 1300 whistlers have been measured at
Sanae, Antarctica, and it is shown that whistlers arriving from lower
latitudes than the station predominantly come from the west. The
observations are presented in detail, and the possible reasons for this
asymmetric distribution of arrival bearings are discussed.
