We present the results of a search for cold neutral hydrogen and OH molecules in 85 rich Abell clusters of galaxies. The spectra were taken towards radio-loud galaxies near the cluster centers using the Arecibo 305-m radio telescope. A wide spectrometer bandwidth was used to ensure that the entire velocity range of the infall region was covered by the recorded spectra (i.e., +/-5000 km s-1). To minimize the effects of bandpass ripples, the sources were observed in the double-position-switched mode. We detected HI in several clusters, some in emission, some in absorption.
