Scientific paper

We propose to continue observations of a sample of late A/ early F
dwarfs in the Pleiades, UMa and Hyades clusters, and in the field, to
study the inception of chromospheric emission as a function of stellar
temperature and age. The scope of this program has decreased with time:
all we have time to do this cycle is alpha Aql, A7 IV-V.
