Presented is a study of atmosphere molecule collisions on a meteor body.
sFor velocity impacts, the magnitude cx is found to be
greater sthan theory predicts. For the given deceleration, the density
of the satmosphere is thought to be several times lower than previously
scalculated by means of meteor data.
