This paper will discuss the state of these technologies: Vacuum Hot
Press Bonding, Near Net Shape Forming with re- useable mandrels, and the
development of the O-30 material. The paper will also attempt to show
how these new manufacturing technologies addresses the perception that
beryllium is an expensive, long lead material.
