This paper reports the advances in the development and experimental characterization of an internally-fed Linear Array of Colloid Thruster Emitters. The engine uses doped formamide as propellant and operates in the Single Taylor Cone droplet emission regime. The engine implements the idea of hydraulic and electrodynamic flow rate matching to achieve electrical control. Experimental results that demonstrate cumulative uniform, steady operation are provided, as well as an experimental curve of current versus flowrate in agreement with a reduced order model. Experimental data demonstrates the low divergence of a Colloid Thruster operated in the single Taylor Cone, in agreement with reduced order models, product of the absence of a thermalized tail in the plume. The paper finalizes by pointing out the future areas of research.
