Scientific paper

Papers are presented on the GEOS-1 mission, with attention given to the S-300 wave experiment, measurements of quasi-static electric fields between 3 and 7 earth radii, observations of VLF electromagnetic waves, and observations of electrostatic waves. Consideration is also given to banded electron cyclotron harmonic instability in the upper atmosphere, VLF and ULF waves in the framework of conjugated ground-satellite relationships, and utilization of magnetospheric field models for mapping fluxes and calculating conjugate points.
