Moon Crust:Formation

Scientific paper

The paper is concerned with the theory of how anorthositic crust may accumulate in the early history of the moon and how such crust may solidify by adcumulus growth. The theory is an extension of that already developed for floor accumulation in terrestrial layered intrusions (Morse, 1979), and the evidence from such bodies is used in support of the theoretical reasoning.
