We present high resolution near infrared images of the proto-typical high-mass protostellar object IRAS20126+4104, obtained using adaptive optics on the Subaru telescope. The presence of a second object at 0.5" from the main source is confirmed. The images at K, L and M bands have a spatial resolution of 80 mas corresponding to a linear scale of 150 AU. These are the highest resolution images of the region excluding masers. The implications of the objects and structures seen in the images are discussed.
