Recent advances in adaptive optics control techniques have demonstrated
the interest of modal control in astronomical applications in comparison
with a nodal control. This paper describes the advantages to use such a
control for the Come-On-Plus project. The different steps of nodal and
modal control algorithms used for this experiment are given.
