The HyperLeda database is a tool to study the physics of galaxies. It is based on compilations of data from many different origins (large surveys and literature) which are cross-identified and homogenized to produce a uniform representation of the galaxies. We have introduced in Hyperleda information characterizing the nuclear and starburst activity, as in particular the Veron and Veron catalogue. We have also described each type of active galactic nuclei. It is now possible to retreive an _activity type_ for the HyperLeda galaxies having this attribute, and it is possible to select list of objects from constraints on _activity type_. For example, one may select all Sy2 galaxies within some magnitude limits and/or redshift...
