In the first lecture we shortly introduce Active Galactic Nuclei, stressing the importance of host galaxy observations. Blazars are presented in the second lecture, where we concentrate on recent results deriving from TeV observations which may be relevant for their implications in physics and cosmology. Finally in lecture 3 we address some aspects of the issue of coevolution of Black Holes and host galaxies.
