Scientific paper

The paper examines an active experiment involving the injection of plasma from a rocket into the ionosphere. The experiment was performed at heights of 100-400 km in the midlatitude ionosphere in December 1978 under relatively quiet magnetic conditions. The aim of the experiment was to measure precipitating electron fluxes stimulated by the plasma injection. The main results are presented with reference to the dependence of flux counting intensity on rocket flight time.
