We propose to perform HST/WFC multiband imaging of the bullet cluster 1E0657-56 at z=0.296 in the F435W, F475W, and F850LP filters. The proposed filter coverage with the existing WFC image enables us to obtain reliable photometric redshifts of individual background galaxies and to identify multiply lensed images. Our comprehensive mass reconstruction utilizing the information will reveal the dynamically distrupted dark matter structure of the cluster from the recent merger in unprecedented detail.
