In the present paper, an attempt is made to determine the influence of ion-density calculation accuracy on the magnitude and position of the maximum of the dimensionless electrostatic-field potential in the wake of a body situated in a supersonic low-density equilibrium plasma flow. The influence of the accuracy of integration of the ion density is plotted for a range of ratios of the linear dimension of the body to the Debye radius.
