Black Holes: Accretion
Scientific paper
The authors study the equatorial circular test particle motion in the background of the Kerr-Newman metric. Specifically, they have evaluated and compared the angular momentum, energy and binding energies of neutral and charged test particles accreting onto an extreme rotating charged black hole. It is shown that a positive (negative) charged test particle releases more energy as compared to a neutral or negative (positive) charged test particle, provided the black-hole charge is positive (negative).
