It is shown that the acceleration of cosmic-ray particles at a shock front occurs in a pure form if the shock wave propagates along the homogeneous (on a scale of less than 10 to the 11th cm) solar wind. The criterion for such acceleration is the power-law dependence of a specified distribution function in the low-energy region and the conservation of this dependence at significant distances behind the front. The criteria for turbulent acceleration behind the front are lower values of the spectral index at low energies and the evolution of the spectrum behind the shock front.
