Anomalous Cosmic Rays (ACRs) are a tool for studying the movement of energetic particles within the solar system, for learning the general properties of the heliosphere and for studying the nature of interstellar material itself. ACRs, among the most energetic particle radiation in the solar system, are thought to be produced at the termination shock (TS). The shape of the TS was formerly assumed to be spherical, until Voyager 1 (V1) crossed the TS. It didn't observe energetic ACRs. Further, the source of ACRs was not at the location on TS where Voyager 2 (V2) passed through .This leads us to believe that TS is non-spherical. We will be comparing the acceleration of ACRs at a spherical TS and a non spherical TS. A spherical TS model of size 90AU and a non spherical TS model with nose at ~ 88AU, tail at ~192AU and flanks at ~135AU is used. We will also be comparing the acceleration of ACRs at the nose, tail and flanks in the non spherical case to elucidate where they are accelerated. Results will be compared with the observations of V1 & V2 to arrive at a model to explain the acceleration of ACRs at a non spherical TS.
