Results are presented on measurements of the ozone absorption cross section, in the spectral region 590-610 nm, for temperatures 230 K and 299 K. The measurements were carried out using the instrumentation and the method described by Cacciani et al. (1989). In this method, ozone is produced with an electrical discharge and stored under cryogenic conditions; differential absorption measurements are obtained in a slowly evolving mixture of ozone and molecular oxygen. Results showed no significant dependence of the absorption coefficient on temperature.
