A specialized telescope for the absolute spectrophotometry of the sun
has been installed as part of the SEF-1 complex at the Terskol
Observatory at Mount Elbrus, USSR. The characteristics of the telescope
are presented and the technique for measuring the spectral density of
the energy brightness of the solar disk center is described.
