The neutrino signals from SN 1987A have been found to have two unexpected pulses whose total energy is an order of magnitude higher than the maximum value that could be ascribed to the neutron-star mass defect. It is suggested that matter moves periodically under the gravitational radius and emerges from beneath the radius to enter the same physical space. Mass defect for the dynamic configuration, at 60 percent, eliminates all the difficulties that emerge in energy considerations. A plausible scenario for SN 1987A which gives attention to the function of neutrino energy distribution is presented.
