During this conference we have heard a great deal about recent progress in understanding the development of cosmic structures from small initial seed perturbations. In these concluding remarks, I would like to comment on the two parts of the picture involving elementary-particle physics: 1) the generation of the seed perturbations in the early universe during inflation, and 2) the nature of the dark matter.
