Orbit Determination: Numerical Methods

According to the principle of unit-vector-method, the authors present an initial orbit determination method with some restricted elements. This method has been put in practical use and the results show that even if the accuracy of data is not very good or the arc length not very long, this method is still efficient. The convergency is improved and the accuracy also higher than those of classical methods.
