Launched in 2006, the twin spacecraft of the STEREO mission have provided unique views of the Sun and the inner heliosphere in three dimensions. One pair of instruments in particular, the Heliospheric Imagers, have revolutionised the way that solar transients, in particular Earth-directed coronal mass ejections, can be viewed. This talk will summarise the observations so far, review the techniques developed to interpret the data and discuss how these techniques will help to inform future space-weather missions.
