A two component model (luminous matter + dark halo) for spherical galaxies is presented. The distribution function of the luminous matter belongs to the class of the Osipkov-Merritt models. Its kinematic properties are studied and compared with those of two real galaxies. With a proper choice of the model parameters they are close enough to the observable kinematic data.
