In this thesis, we study the effects of rapid rotation on stellar pulsations by means of an accurate numerical code. Previous methods were inadequate for interpreting asteroseismic data, either because they took the effects of rotation into account using perturbation theory, which is limited to small rotation rates, or because of an insufficient numerical accuracy. In order to overcome these difficulties, we develop a complete approach based on the use of spectral methods and a system of coordinates which fits the star's oblate surface. We then calculate acoustic eigenmodes and eigenfrequencies of uniformly rotating polytropic stellar models. These results are used to establish, for the first time, validity domains for perturbative methods. Furthermore, we analyse, at high rotation rates, the asymptotic characteristics of the frequency spectrum and the geometric structure of pulsation modes.
