The neutrino oscillation enhancement in the Earth-type medium mantle - core -
mantle is discussed. It is noted that the total conversion is possible both for
a resonant matter density and a nonresonant one. A useful parameterization, for
the representation of the transition probability for neutrinos and
antineutrinos in a single plot, is proposed.
