A third order theory of the perturbations of Uranus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Neptune is presented. The method of integration is described, and the perturbation function is defined for the interior and exterior cases. The calculations of the first and second derivatives are traced, including programming for derivation of terms of the Lagrange equations. The construction of the third order perturbations is examined, and the results of comparisons of first, second, third order predictions for 1000 yr period are provided. It is noted that some tens of arcsecs have yet to be included, and that accuracy is kept to within a few arcsec for small divisors when considering Neptune and Uranus.
