Studies of high redshift (z > 2) galaxies have now started moving beyond ensemble statistical studies and into physical analyses of detailed galaxy properties, with high-S/N, high resolution optical and infrared spectroscopy and (e.g., Pettini et al. 1998, 1999) sub-mm observations (Chapman et al. 1999). These, however, are limited by the faintness of Lyman break selected galaxies - only gravitationally lensed examples are bright enough for detailed spectroscopic study, and only two such lensed objects are known at z ~ 3. Here we propose a WIYN queue ``snapshot'' survey to select Lyman break galaxies lensed by massive foreground galaxy clusters. These will be ideal targets for measuring stellar population properties, metallicities, and kinematics with 8-10m spectroscopy, and dust content with SCUBA.
