Time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in B^0 → D^(*)\overlineD^(*) modes are studied using e^+e^- annihilation data collected with the BABAR detector at the Υ(4S) resonance during years 1999-2001 at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC. One B is fully reconstructed and the flavor of the other B in the event is determined with a tagging algorithm that exploits the relation between the flavor of the heavy quark and the charges of its decay products. We report on the value of the asymmetry amplitude, sin2 β, in the quark subprocess b → c \overline c d.
