The solar surges in the solar active region AR0484 on 2003-10-22 are studied by using chromospheric Ha, TRACE/WL and SOHO/EIT EUV monochromatic images as well as photospheric magnetic field observational material of SOHO/MDI. The following results are obtained: (1) According to the observation at Ha line center, the surges consist of bright and dark components. These two components appeared one after the other and did not exist in one and the same space. The bright components of the surges exhibit better simultaneity in time and coexistence in space with the eruptions observed in UV and EUV wave bands. (2) The erupted surge matter moved along EUV rings. (3) The spots and magnetic fields in the surge footpoints in the photospheric layer exhibit obvious changes. These observational results support the model of magnetic reconnection of surges.
