Scientific paper

Results of a study of multiple-core extensive air showers conducted during the ANI-83 experiment are summarized. The results of the experiment are used to obtain an estimate (0.25-0.8 mb) of the formation cross-sections of rigid jets in pp-interactions for proton energies of 1.0 - 10 to the 6th GeV and impulse jets with transverse impulses greater than 50 GeV/s.
