Einstein's field equations are considered in the presence of a
cosmological string and magnetic field for Bianchi type-I space-times.
Some exact solutions are produced using a few plausible assumptions
regarding the parametrization of the cosmic string and magneto-fluid.
The analytical solutions are supplemented with numerical evaluations.
