Multifrequency observations of sudden frequency deviations in Doppler
measurements were used to calculate the spectral energy distribution of
UV radiation in the initial phase of solar flares. The interval from 1
to 796 A was studied for the flares that occurred Aug. 28, 1966 and May
23, 1967.
