The restricted three-body problem posed by Ichlinsky is analyzed. It is found that the motion of each of the passive masses is sufficiently close to the passive-mass motion of the problem of Kopenhague, so that particular solutions approximating the Lagrangian solutions of the Kopenhague problem can be obtained. These solutions are unstable but permit periodic solutions which are again close to the Lagrangian solutions.
