A simple technique for the determination of archeo/paleo magnetic field intensity using old roof tiles or rocks is described. Both the destruction of the NRM and the build-up of the partial TRM over a temperature interval is done in a single heating using two specimens with anti-parallel alignment of their NRM in the present geomagnetic field at the laboratory.
