The cosmic ray modulation by the interplanetary magnetic field of simple geometry is considered. The turbulent component of field is assumed to be proportional to the total field intensity with a proportional coefficient indep ending on the coordinates but varying with the 11-year cycle. The expected variations are compared with the ground-based results for many years.
