An exact analytical solution to Einstein's field equations is presented and used to construct a model for a collapsing star. The radius of the core is plotted as a function of time. Also, the decrease in the velocity of collapse is plotted as a function of increases in the adiabtic index, indicating a stiffening of the equation of state. The model neglects mass ejection and luminosity.
