The authors present a model for studying systems of relativistic compact objects by providing the corresponding global spacetime metric, which has the property of being asymptotically flat. The dynamical prediction of the model agrees with those of a post-Newtonian approach up to the 2nd order. The particular case of a binary system is worked out and some calculations are compared with previous results existing in the literature.
