We tried to put in evidence the existence of the 3rd "dredge-up" in a sample of M type oxygenated irregular and semi-regular variables. The three lines of Tc (4238, 4262, 4297A) have being studied in medium resolution spectra (30 000) obtained with the spectrograph Aurelie (OHP) by means of synthetic spectra. Technetium was found in two irregular and in some semi-regular variables.
