Scientific paper

Spectroscopic parallaxes of 102 southern stars were derived from
photometry and MK spectral types. These stars have a total proper motion
greater than 0.3arcsec/yr and were selected from Yale Southern Zones
between -30° to -50° and -70° to -90° in declination.
