We focus on the effects of the velocity field, and changed density distribution, accompanying our model of a mass-flux on an expanded version of our earlier, static, model of Hα emission from a low-lying chromosphere. Our aim lies on understanding the variability, between "peculiar" and normal stars, and for a given star, in Hα emission and other allied characteristics. We find that the velocity field alone, ignoring effects of changed density distribution, does not suffice to remove the contradictions earlier found on the total Hα emission and large central self-reversal of the profile. Including the effects of changed density distribution introduces a wide variety of possible models, depending upon the size of the mass-flux. A better resolution of the contradictions requires consideration of extended, not only low-lying, chromospheres-coronas-postcoronas.
