Some 25% of fossil micrometeorites (MM) from an asteroid collision 470
Myrs ago have Ne-21 CRE ages of 10-50 Myrs due to regolith preexposure,
requiring to revisit the cometary origin interpretation of a similar
pattern observed in recent MM and IDP.
