We propose to measure the redshifts of galaxies that are likely tracers of the lensing mass responsible for the measured elongation of galaxy shapes (shear field) in the region around the QSO PKS1508-05. This lens has remained hidden to shallow X-ray and optical surveys and would have remained undetected if not for the beacon provided by this bright QSO. However, in order to use information provided by the measured shear field to determine the mass of the lensing cluster and therefore the dark matter content of the lens, details of the 3- dimensional geometry of the system are required. Currently there is no information about the redshift of the lens. The demonstration that clusters with a large mass to light ratio can be found by targeting bright radio QSOs for future lensing studies can provide an important sample for the study of dark matter.
